We are a family friendly church that sits at the heart of a network of over 250 volunteers who work together on many different projects and activities in our area.
We run a foodbank that gave out over 1,700 food parcels to struggling people last year. We also gave out 70 summer hampers and 80 Christmas hampers to families in need.
We run a project called GIFT, which supports people in need this year by providing practical help, furniture, soft furnishings, white goods, carpets, essential cooking equipment, transport, companionship, and more.
We offer practical support and friendship to refugee families in the area.
We run a bereavement café to offer support to the many people who have lost someone they love
We do a lot of work in support of local schools, with people volunteering as governors, helping children with reading, offering support to the staff and leading collective worship.
We have over 70 children involved in our toddler groups, children’s activities and youth groups, and are hoping to set up a youth community choir in 2026
We run courses on stress management, relationships, parenting, conflict resolution, bereavement, job transition, faith, prayer, and many more.
We host numerous events to help grow community. Every year, thousands of people come to our regular tea/coffee mornings/afternoons, breakfasts, lunches, & suppers, games nights, curry nights, and concerts.
We also have a wide range of different Church services. We gather to be filled again with God’s love, and to support, encourage and inspire one another, so that we’re ready to go back out into the world and serve as God calls us to do
We’re proud to be a small part of a much larger worldwide operation involving billions of volunteers, working with God to do our part in making the world a better place.
